Former government councillor and board member of the Basel Sinfonietta support association has died
Urs Wüthrich-Pelloli, former government councilor of the canton of Basel-Landschaft and board member of the Basel Sinfonietta support association, died unexpectedly on Monday.
Urs Wüthrich, through his extensive knowledge of cultural institutions and broad network, made an extraordinary contribution to our orchestra as a member of the board of the Friends of the Basel Sinfonietta. He was always open to new ideas and valued his contact with the musicians of the Basel Sinfonietta as a source of inspiration. We will miss his humorous, charming, open, and witty personality and are deeply saddened by his passing.
We will always cherish the memory of Urs Wüthrich with gratitude and extend our deepest condolences to his family.
