Former member of the cantonal government and board member of the Friends and Supporters Association of the Basel Sinfonietta has died
Urs Wüthrich-Pelloli, former member of the cantonal government of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft and board member of the Friends and Supporters Association of the Basel Sinfonietta passed away unexpectedly on Monday.
Urs Wüthrich rendered outstanding services to our orchestra on the board of the Friends and Supporters Association of the Basel Sinfonietta with his great knowledge of cultural institutions and his broad network. He was always open to new ideas and found the contact with the musicians of the Basel Sinfonietta inspiring and very much appreciated. We will miss his humorous, charming but also open and witty personality and are very sad.
We will always remember Urs Wüthrich with gratitude and offer our deepest sympathy to his family.
