Chamber ensemble Orquesta Experimental de Instrumentos Nativos (OEIN)
The Orquesta Experimental de Instrumentos Nativos (OEIN), founded in 1980 in La Paz, Bolivia, is unique in that it combines the sound spectrum of the instruments of the Andean highlands with the discoveries of contemporary musical language.
As part of the CULTURESCAPES 2021 Amazonas festival, the Basel Sinfonietta presents a collaborative concert project with the OEIN's chamber ensemble of seven soloists under the baton of Spanish conductor Pablo Rus Broseta.
An intercontinental concert project at the crossroads between tradition and innovation from the Andean sound lab featuring composers from South America and Switzerland.
